Bachelor of Science in Business
Are you interested in a general business degree? Or would you like to specialize in a selected discipline? Either way, this program gives you the option to choose. How will you gain the knowledge you'll need to move directly into the corporate world? You can select ten major courses that interest you; you can choose five major courses and one minor; or you can choose dual minors. Whatever excites you, your minor will provide excellent preparation for further graduate study. Not sure which minor(s) to choose? Not to worryÑyou won't declare the minor until you are further along in your program, so you have time to decide! Toward the end of the program, students can apply for an internship course (located in Arizona), which provides the opportunity to integrate their business education with real-world experience.
The Bachelor of Science in Business program is designed for students who want to acquire a solid foundation in general business, but have not yet decided in which area of business to specialize, or for those who wish to individualize their program. Students have the option to combine general business studies with a distinctive and rigorous minor in a selected discipline. Minor courses provide excellent preparation for further graduate study. Students may choose 300- and 400-level courses (prerequisites must be met) in any discipline or combination of disciplines to fulfill 30 credits of major requirements. Students can choose to minor in Accounting, Business Communication, Criminal Behavior, Finance, Human Resource Management, Informatics, Legal Studies, Management, or Marketing.
